Ø     To increase the understanding of depression, it's causes, impacts, and options for effective treatment and management.

This will ensure that people can make informed choices and hence significantly increase the proportion of Indian depression sufferers who actually go forward to seek help and treatment.

Ø     To address the issues responsible for the stigma within the individual towards having depression and further to combat the stigma and prejudice experienced by those affected by depression.

Ø     To educate the general public of India on the risks associated with depression - in particular the risk of suicide.

Ø     To develop a better understanding of depression, early recognition of mental depression, effective treatment, and appropriate access to quality mental health care.

Ø     To communicate to all that You are not alone! and provide encouragement and support along the road to recovery.
