SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION…
Depression is one of the world's oldest and
most common ailments. It can have both physical and
psychological symptoms.
Ø As
with many mental health problems, there are a number of symptoms
of depression and it's very rare for all of them to occur in one
person.
Ø Depression
is associated with many symptoms and not everyone has the same ones. Some
people have many symptoms, while others may only
have a few.
Ø Severity
of symptoms varies with individuals and also varies
over time.

you may be able to help yourself or someone close to you.
SIGNS OF
DEPRESSION
The following is a basic
list of some of the symptoms:
Ø
Persistent sad, anxious,
or "empty" mood.
Ø
Feelings of
hopelessness, pessimism.
Ø
Feelings of guilt,
worthlessness, helplessness.
Ø Losing
interest in activities that used to bring pleasure - Inability to enjoy
things.
Ø Decreased
energy, fatigue, being "slowed down" - Lack of energy and constant
exhaustion.
